In mid-April 2024, ELHCO<\/strong> participated in the certification meeting by CDTI for both the first and second years of the SUSCROM project<\/a>. All consortium partners involved in this project, ELHCO<\/strong>, CHEMPLATE Materials, SURTECH Engineering, and EGILE Mechanics, were present along with representatives from CIDETEC Surface Engineering. The main meeting took place at ELHCO’s facilities, where the partners presented to the CDTI representative all activities carried out to date. Subsequently, visits were made to both ELHCO<\/strong> and CHEMPLATE facilities. The audit has been successfully resolved, and the project will continue until the end of 2024, as planned.<\/p>\n

We remind you that the main objective of the SUSCROM project<\/a> is to find an alternative to replace hard chrome with other more sustainable solutions. The SUSCROM project strategy was conceived based on the results obtained in the TRUE-REPLACE project and combines known processes of chemical nickel and the development of a chroming process containing trivalent chromium.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

The project falls within the framework of the Aeronautical Technology Program (PTA), which is funded by CDTI and belongs to the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan of the Ministry of Science and Innovation.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
