The three consortium partners involved in this project, <strong>ELHCO<\/strong>, GAITEK, and RESCOLL, were present alongside representatives from CIDETEC, the research center providing technical and strategic support throughout the project.<\/p>\n<p>The project belongs to the Eurostars CoD14 program of the Horizon Europe Framework Programme H2020, funded by CDTI in the international inter-company call. The project is scheduled to conclude on November 30, 2023, prompting a compilation of all information acquired during the 30 months of the project&#8217;s lifespan. An agreement was reached on how to approach the final steps to close it.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>THERMOMASK project<\/strong> has been focused on two main objectives:<\/p>\n<\/div><ul style=\"--awb-line-height:32.3px;--awb-icon-width:32.3px;--awb-icon-height:32.3px;--awb-icon-margin:13.3px;--awb-content-margin:45.6px;--awb-circlecolor:var(--awb-color4);--awb-circle-yes-font-size:16.72px;\" class=\"fusion-checklist fusion-checklist-1 fusion-checklist-default type-icons\"><li class=\"fusion-li-item\" style=\"\"><span class=\"icon-wrapper circle-yes\"><i class=\"fusion-li-icon awb-icon-check\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><\/span><div class=\"fusion-li-item-content\">The preparation of <strong>new masks<\/strong> to be selectively applied to metal parts. These masks must be physically and chemically resistant to withstand the aggressive conditions of certain electroplating baths, and should also be easily removable through the application of heat.<\/div><\/li><li class=\"fusion-li-item\" style=\"\"><span class=\"icon-wrapper circle-yes\"><i class=\"fusion-li-icon awb-icon-check\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><\/span><div class=\"fusion-li-item-content\">Development of a <strong>device for applying heat<\/strong> to the masks to facilitate their separation from the metal part.
